SPF Record Checker
Inspect sender policies and lookup limits.
SPF is a TXT record listing which servers may send mail for your domain. An SPF check reads that record, validates its syntax and counts the DNS lookups it triggers — more than ten causes a permerror and receivers may then reject your mail.

How SPF Record Checker works
What it does
Inspect sender policies and lookup limits.
What you get
Sender policy records, syntax checks and DNS lookup warnings.
Live data sources
The target is sent to a network provider. Results include their source; timeouts and unavailable data are clearly marked.
What if a check cannot finish?
Confirm your input and try again. A timeout, blocked request, or unavailable provider is not proof that a domain is broken. Internet measurements and third-party services have limits.
SPF Record Checker — frequently asked questions
What is the ten-lookup limit?
SPF allows at most ten DNS-querying mechanisms (include, a, mx, ptr, exists, redirect). Past that, evaluation fails with permerror and your SPF effectively stops protecting you.
Should my record end with ~all or -all?
~all (softfail) marks unlisted senders as suspicious; -all (fail) tells receivers to reject them. Start with ~all, confirm nothing legitimate is missing, then tighten to -all.
Can I publish two SPF records?
No. A domain must publish exactly one SPF TXT record. Two is a permerror — merge them into a single record with multiple include: terms.
